Replate’s initiative at COP28 created a significant impact through advanced technology and collaboration. Using COP28 as a platform, we focused on rescuing surplus food from vendors to minimize waste and aid those in need.

Building on our success at Expo 2020 in Dubai, we launched the Food Rescue Program (FRP) on World Food Day. This program engaged food outlets at COP28 to donate surplus food to the UAE Food Bank, reducing waste and providing meals to local charities​​​​.

Our technology-enabled vendors to schedule and track donations seamlessly, ensuring real-time data and adherence to food safety protocols​​.

We provided detailed reports on the environmental and social impact of donations, highlighting benefits like reduced waste and lower carbon emissions​​.

Collaborating with the UAE Food Bank and other partners, we efficiently managed the collection and distribution of surplus food, supporting COP28’s sustainability goals​​.
